NRA Basic Pistol Course $125
This is an 8-hour course that includes in classroom discussion and hands on instruction on the range. Students will learn to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students will learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals and range rules. Also covered, will be cleaning process for the pistols and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and a Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet. Students will take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and upon successful completion, receive a certificate.

- Pistol (single action revolver, double action revolver and semi-automatic pistol)

- Eye and ear protection available
Please do not bring any firearms or ammunition to this class.
The goal is to get you comfortable with any style of handgun and allow you to make an informed decision as to which style is right for you.
